Living life at the end of a chain is destructive to a dog's physical and psychological well-being. It can lead to aggression, muscle atrophy, and severe neglect. However, we believe that most owners don't do this out of cruelty—they do it out of a lack of options.
freepawsfromchains.org is dedicated to stepping in where support is needed most. We raise funds to:
- Build sturdy, custom outdoor enclosures and fencing for low-income families.
- Provide high-quality structural overhead runner systems (trolleys) as safer temporary alternatives to fixed chains.
- Educate communities on positive reinforcement training, proper containment, and canine behavior.
